Dr. Eugene R. Zampieron, ND, MH,RH(AHG), is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and is licensed by the board of Naturopathic Medical Examiners in CT as a Naturopathic physician. He practices in Woodbury with an emphasis in environmental medicine and detoxification therapy using hydrotherapy, nature cure, homeopathy, and botanical medicine.
He also is an authority on the successful management of acute and chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, arthritis, fibromyalgia and other inflammatory disease with Naturopathic & "Global "(Natural Medicine & Healing Systems worldwide) therapeutics. He is one of the founding fathers of the University of Bridgeport’s Naturopathic Medical school, where he also currently is the senior-most clinical & academic faculty member. He has lectured to faculty, staff and students at Stony Brook Medical School and UCONN medical school on the Naturopathic Treatment of Arthritis, and to conferences world wide. He is also a lecturer and outside examiner for the University of Technology’s program of holistic & herbal medicine in Kingston, Jamaica, WI. He currently teaches phyto-pharmacognosy, Botanical Pharmacy, Botanical Medicine, geriatrics/Rheumatology, Practice management, Urology, and History of medicine courses at the University he is curator of the college’s medicinal herb garden and has been featured in KNIGHTLINES magazine and the Connecticut Post.
