Current in-house research at STELLAR is focused on the concept of improving surgical effectiveness. To this end, we are developing solutions in image guidance, segmentation, registration and robotic controls. Novel technologies in diagnostic imaging, tissue sensing and surgical adjuncts are also being developed during the course of this research.
Collaborative projects leverage existing world class expertise in ultrasonography, elastography, and mechatronics to develop novel approaches to the burgeoning field of minimally invasive therapies.
