Dr. Taheri's area of expertise is in modelling of structural and material response with computational method to reduce the cost associated with usual experimental methods. He also designs and conducts testing programs for specific conditions. He also provides services for determining and characterization of the properties and response of materials and structures. Specifically, the expertise has been focused on fiber-reinforced composite materials, structural rehabilitation by fiber-reinforced composites and fatigue and fracture of materials and components.
