Bio/Research

Dr. Bone has been a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering since 1994. His research interests are in the areas of robotics and manufacturing automation. This research is supported by industry and government sources. He has an active and well-funded research group consisting of several Master's and Ph.D. students.

His undergraduate teaching interests and experience include: Robotics (Mech Eng 4K03), Mechatronics (Mech Eng 4H03), Control Systems (ME 4R03), Design (ME 2C03 and 4M04), Kinematics (2A03), and Manufacturing Processes (ME 3C03). He also teaches the graduate courses: Advanced Control Systems (Mech Eng 751) and Robotics (Mech Eng 6K03).

He is also a member of the MMRI (McMaster Manufacturing Research Institute).
