Bio/Research

Graeme Auld is an Assistant Professor at Carleton University in the School of Public Policy and Administration, with a cross appointment in the Institute of Political Economy. He is a Research Fellow with the Carleton Centre for Community Innovation and a Faculty Associate at the Governance, Environment, and Market's Initiative at Yale University. He holds a PhD from Yale University (2009) in Environmental Governance, a M.S. from Auburn University (2001) and a B.S. in Forestry from the University of British Columbia (1999).

With broad interests in comparative environmental policy and global environmental governance, his research examines the emergence, evolution and impacts of non-state and hybrid forms of global governance across economic sectors, particularly fisheries, agriculture and forestry. Secondary interests include the design and efficacy of information disclosure and transparency policies and climate policy.
