Bio/Research
Dr. Gagnon is a Full Professor the Department of Civil & Resources Engineering at Dalhousie University, where he serves as the NSERC / Halifax Water Industrial Research Chair in Water Quality & Treatment. Dr. Gagnon is also the Director for the Centre for Water Resources Studies, where he has been very active in providing leadership in the water community. He has served on committees with the Canadian Water Network, NSERC, and AWWA. In 2009 he was awarded the Ira MacNabb award from the ACWWA for his leadership and contributions to water utilities in Atlantic Canada.
