Bio/Research

Graham Peacock received his initial training as an artist at the University of London Goldsmith's College where the style of instruction was traditional, relying on drawing, painting and sculpting from observation. Peacock, influenced by early modernists such as Kasimir Malevitch and Piet Mondrian, rapidly moved to working abstractly, continuing his education at the Leeds College of Art and Newport College of Art in Monmouthshire. Peacock began teaching painting in the Department of Art and Design at the University of Alberta in 1969 and is now a full Professor.
