Professor Richards conducts research into performance management practices and outcomes in public and private sector organizations. He coordinates, in collaboration with Professor Swee Goh, the Interis Public Sector Performance Management research cluster. The focus of this cluster is on the approaches used to stimulate high performance in public sector organizations. In addition, he currently oversees the development of research and curriculum building initiatives for the newly created IBM Centre for Performance Management. The focus of the Centre is on the application of Business Analytics methods and technologies in enabling organizational high performance.
