Bio/Research

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Computing Science at the University of Alberta. Before I joined this department in 2001, I had worked as a Postdoc at University of Waterloo, McMaster University, and University of Vermont. I received my PhD in Theoretical Computer Science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 1998, and BSc in Applied Mathematics from Zhejiang University, in 1993.
