Bio/Research

My primary research interests are in the area of affective regulation of impulsive behavior via the frontal lobes and subcortical reward structures. This extends primarily to addictions and impulse control disorders, but also to other mental health conditions. I received my Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Alberta, working with Dr. Pierre Flor-Henry and Dr. Andrew Greenshaw, examining electrophysiological and neuropsychological indices of craving in alcohol- and cocaine-addicted men.
