Hasan Cavusoglu is Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia. He teaches on a variety of IT management topics in Sauder’s MBA and undergraduate programs.
Hasan holds a Ph.D. degree in management science with a specialization in MIS and a M.Sc. degree in management and administrative sciences from the University of Texas at Dallas.
His current research interests are economics of information systems, economics of information security and privacy, privacy on online social networks, and management of technology and information. His research has appeared in Management Science, Management Information Systems Quarterly, Information Systems Research, the IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, the IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, Information Technology and Management, and Communications of the AIS.
