Prof. Helen Hambly's research primarily focuses on knowledge mobilization, information technology and telecommunications in agricultural innovation systems. She leads the Regional and Rural Broadband project (www.r2b2project.ca).
Hambly has 30 years of experience in international agricultural R&D, and has designed and implemented research on communication, media and intellectual assets in agriculture. Her publications range from rural internet to radio and from social inclusion in agri-food systems to strengthening farmers' capacity to innovate.
