Professor Kim’s research covers topics such as the effects of asset and labor market frictions on corporate financial and investment policies; the effects of corporate governance, financial distress, and labor contracts on productivity, wages, and asset reallocations. His work has been published in leading academic journals in finance and economics, such as the Review of Financial Studies and the National Tax Journal. Professor Kim earned his PhD in business administration (finance) from Duke University, an AM in statistics from Harvard University, and a BBA in business administration from Seoul National University.
