In the Daydreaming Lab, Dr. Ian Newby-Clark and his team are creating new methods to measure daydream content, frequency, duration, meta-awareness (i.e., awareness that one is daydreaming), and attitudes toward daydreaming.
Ian's focus is on extensive data exploration, optimal methods for the estimation of parameters, effect size estimation, and confidence intervals. His lab does not engage in the Null Hypothesis Significance Testing Process (NHSTP) and follows open science practices.
Newby-Clark is a signatory of the Openness Initiative (https://opennessinitiative.org/).
