Dr. Sullivan's research program focuses on the breeding, genetics and physiology and management of ornamental species. Flowering species native to Canada are the subject of the program's investigations. Research is also conducted on cultivar testing of potato, interspecific hybrids in Fragaria (strawberry) and viticulture in cool climate regions (with Dr. Helen Fisher, Vineland).
