Specialist in comparative law, legislation and Arab-Muslim international humanitarian law, Jabeur Fathally holds a doctorate (Ph.D), an LL.M and a LL.L University of Ottawa and an MA and DUEJ the Faculty of Legal Sciences of Tunis. Part-time professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa, Jabeur Fathally is also the founder and principal investigator of the Research Group on the legal systems in the world (JuriGlobe: www.juriglobe.ca ) whose work is used in the majority of American and European universities. Fellow Van Calker, Professor Fathally interested in his teaching and research projects on issues related to law of armed conflict, international terrorism and the study of correlations between the different legal systems.
Polyglot and a member of several academic organizations and institutions, Jabeur Fathally is often invited to lecture audiences judicial and academic, both in Canada and Europe.
