Bio/Research
Jim Anglin has served as Director of International Affairs since January 1, 2004 and also as Associate Vice-President Academic from January 1, 2004 to May 3, 2009. He joined the faculty at the University of Victoria in 1980 and has served as Graduate Advisor and Director of the School of Child and Youth Care. Prior to joining UVic, he worked in a social policy position in Ottawa and as a Senior Project Coordinator with the Children's Services Division in Toronto. He has been a technical adviser to the World Health Organization and the South African Inter-Ministerial Committee on Young People at Risk, is the Canadian representative to FICE-International (UNESCO), and has presented papers, keynote addresses and workshops in over 30 countries.
