Dr. Ohayon completed his pediatric residency at McMaster in 1996 and Allergy Clinical Immunology in 1998. Following his training he worked as a consultant Pediatrician for five years. He then went full-time consulting in Allergy/ Immunology, for both adults and children in our region. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at McMaster Children's Hospital and is on staff at St. Joseph's Hospital Hamilton. He serves as medical director of the Community Asthma Education Program, continues teaching medical clerks and pediatric residents in his field and is a member of the Pediatric Undergraduate Education Committee. His interests are in the field of anaphylaxis and immunotherapy. He has published his clinical experiences in allergy and primary care journals. He serves on advisory boards for in the medical allergy field and is a member of the Canadian, American and European Allergy Societies. He maintains a private consulting office in Hamilton.
