Bio/Research

I firmly believe a teacher's role is to guide students and to motivate them to achieve greater levels of success.

My goals are to: demonstrate a need for learning by explaining the importance of the concepts being taught to students in every course and how they will be beneficial to their future; be an approachable person both in an out of the classroom environment; keep students engaged in their learning; inspire students to be a better rounded person upon leaving my courses; use multiple learning methods; use the opportunity given to me to mold, shape, and even transform students' behavior, knowledge, and skills; use multiple methods of formative and summative assessment to gauge students' learning progression; and share my experience as an industry professional as it is relative to what I am teaching students.
