Dr. Joe Roberts is the Director of Entrepreneurship Program and teaches Management and Entrepreneurship courses in the Management Department, Walker School of Business and Technology, Webster University. In his role as an entrepreneur and educator, he has created and implemented cutting-edge entrepreneurship curricula and pedagogical tactics to develop homegrown entrepreneurship programs within business and STEAM disciplines.
He is also the National Director of The Coleman Foundation Faculty Fellows Program, a nationwide initiative of The Coleman Foundation designed to infuse entrepreneurship across several liberal arts disciplines. In this role, he has, successfully engineered methods to infuse entrepreneurship at several universities across the nation. His work includes presenting entrepreneurship workshops and seminars in China, Taiwan, Russia, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Estonia, Finland, and India. Dr. Roberts received his Ph.D. from The University of Chicago. He has authored books, research articles, and papers on numerous entrepreneurship topics. He won the Telly and Aegis Awards for a documentary that he produced, titled “Entrepreneurship, Then and Now.” He won a global Peter Drucker Essay Contest. He is a small business consultant and has extensive experience mentoring entrepreneurs and helping them procure start-up funding in the US, Mexico, and India.
