Bio/Research
As a medical oncology clinical investigator, my major interest is the study of new drug treatments for breast cancer. I am extensively involved in the clinical testing of new biological, hormonal, and cytotoxic drugs for the treatment of early stage and advanced disease. As the Co-Chair of Research for the Northern Alberta Breast Cancer Program, I supervise the clinical and research programs for women with breast cancer in the referral area of the Cross Cancer Institute, Edmonton. I am Executive Director of the Cancer International Research Group, Translational Cancer Research International, and serve on the steering committees of eleven international systemic therapy trials.
