Dr. John Mazurka is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at McMaster University and the Head of Gynecologic Oncology at the Hamilton Regional Cancer Centre. He earned his medical degree from Queen’s University in 1975 and completed a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology in 1987.
In addition to his position as a Consultant in Gynecologic Oncology at the Hamilton Regional Cancer Centre, Dr. Mazurka is committed to the education of health professionals at all levels. He is involved in the education of undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and was awarded the Excellence in Surgical Teaching Award by residents in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1992 and 1999.
