In recent research, he uses microdata from the US Census of Manufactures and Commodity Flow Survey to identify the determinants of quality specialization across US cities.
At Booth, Dingel teaches Managing the Firm in the Global Economy. Previously, he taught international economics at the University of Oxford and was a teaching assistant for “Globalization, Markets, and the Changing Economic Landscape” at Columbia Business School.
