Dr. Kristan Aronson is an epidemiologist conducting studies with collaborators around the globe to examine the relative contribution of environmental and genetic factors in the etiology of cancer, with the ultimate aim of prevention. Dr. Aronson has held several senior scientific and administrative positions, career and research awards, and is also the recipient of the Golden Jubilee Medallion of Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of her volunteer peer review activities. She also works in India on projects addressing access to clean water in slums, and the dual problem of both under- and over-nutrition.
