Bio/Research

Kristen Noone returns for her thirteenth season as the Head Coach of the Trinity College Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams. She served as an assistant at Trinity in 1999-00. Noone brings a wealth of coaching and competitive swimming experience to the Trinity program and has coached some of the top student-athletes at Trinity. Her teams have earned the College Swimming Coaches Association Academic All-American Team Award for each consecutive semester during her tenure. Several swimmers and divers earn NESCAC All-Academic honors each season as well. For the past several years, Noone has also coached age group swimmers at the Cardinal Swim Camp.

Noone competed as a distance freestyler and backstroker at Boston College, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in 1989. She was a four-year letter winner and captain in her senior year and was a Big East Conference and New England Championships qualifier all four years. She earned all-academic honors during her collegiate career. Noone earned her Master's Degree at Trinity College in 2007.

Noone strives to provide a positive learning environment, which promotes personal achievement and growth to the students in her classes as well as the members of her teams. Her philosophy is to lead by example, operating in an environment of discipline, open communication, honesty, loyalty, and trust. She works to inspire her students and student-athletes to be the best they can be in the classroom and in the pool.
