Bio/Research

Kristine Kennen is currently serving as a Pre-Doctoral intern in the Trinity College Counseling Center. This year marks her final year working toward a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hartford. In addition to serving as a counselor and teaching an introductory psychology course, Kristine is completing her dissertation, entitled: Stress Levels and Modern Communication Technology: An Analysis of the Factors Among the Undergraduate Population. Prior to her experience at Trinity College, Kristine completed practicum positions at The Renfrew Center of Southern Connecticut and Natchaug Hospital. Additional experience within the field was completed at Four Winds Hospital and Yale University. Kristine hopes that her prior clinical experience will help to liven up the classroom and show students the true breadth of this field.
