Dr. Bhushan’s primary objective over the years has been encouraging Lock Haven University education majors interested in using assistive technologies to improve the lives of children with disabilities.
Each year Dr. Bhushan organizes a student-led annual assistive technology fair. In 2013, to address contemporary practices with assistive technology, she organized a fair for students, faculty, and local teachers on “iPads and Education: Promoting Learning through Increased Engagement for Diverse Learners”. She stays current with the latest trends in Assistive Technology by participating in local, state, and national conferences and workshops.
