Bio/Research

I welcome applications from students interested in exploring theoretical and computational astrophysics at the MSc or PhD level. All students accepted into the physics program at Queen's are guaranteed full funding for two years for an MSc or four years for a PhD. Research topics range from galactic modelling and dynamics to the nature of dark matter and involve a mix of theory and numerical analysis.

I hope to add one or two new students to begin in September, 2011. Students are encouraged to apply early in 2011 though applications will be considered until the research positions are filled.
