Bio/Research

Dr. Li Zong is Professor of Sociology at the University of Saskatchewan. He servevs as China Advisor for the University and the Director of Confucius Institute at the University of Saskatchenwan. He is also Research Fellow of Institute for Empirical Social Science Research at Xi'an Jiaotong University; Adjunct Professor for Xi’an Jiaotong University, Lanzhou University, and Northwest University for Nationalities in China. His research projects have been funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Council of Canada (SSHRC), the Prairie Metropolis Centre, the Federal Department of Canadian Heritage, and other funding agencies.
