Professor Burstiner is the faculty adviser for the student newspaper The Lumberjack. She teaches Investigative Reporting, Public Affairs, Mass Media and Popular Arts and Introduction to Mass Communication courses. Marcy spent more than ten years as a business news journalist, including stints at The Deal, TheStreet.com and The San Francisco Daily Journal. She contributes to The North Coast Journal and is the founder of Center for Campus Investigations.
