Margaret is an Associate Professor with the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business at the University of Waterloo, and co-founder and VP Research of The Evidence Network. She conducts research in support of innovation and entrepreneurship policy design and evaluation and has served on expert panels for the Treasury Board of Canada, the Government of Ontario, and the Council of Canadian Academies, as well as on the Governing Council of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council. Margaret holds degrees in business (PhD, UQAM; MBA, McGill), computer science (BSc, McGill), and music (ARCT, Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto).
