Bio/Research
Currently, I mainly conduct parenting capacity assessments with families, and some individual assessments of children, teens and adults. The parenting capacity assessments are psycho-legal assessments, either under the Child and Family Services Act (child welfare related, Crown Wardship applications) or Children's Law Reform Act matters, where families are divorcing and child custody and access are at issue. My theoretical approaches include cognitive-behavioural, family systems, behavioural and attachment based perspectives.
