My research examines the regulation of skeletal muscle energy provision. I am particularly interested in the potential for exercise and/or nutrition to induce metabolic adaptations at the molecular and cellular levels in humans. In addition to basic, mechanistic studies, I also conduct applied research that examines the impact of exercise training and dietary manipulation on sport performance.
