I joined Athabasca University in September 2004. Since then, I have taught undergraduate courses in corporate finance, empirical finance, investment, risk management and derivatives. I graduated from the PhD program at Queen’s University in October 2008.

My areas of research interests are in behavioural finance, hedging with derivatives, and asset pricing. I am currently engaged in research linking the two theory streams of behavioural finance and asset pricing.
