Professor Lynk joined the Faculty of Law in 1999, after practising labour and employment law in Toronto and Ottawa for a number of years. He has taught constitutional law, labour law, Canadian human rights law, and a seminar on advanced labour law, and he has won awards for his teaching. Prof. Lynk is the co-author of Trade Union Law in Canada (Canada Law Book), and has written widely on labour law and human rights law. Prior to joining the Faculty, he served as a vice-chair on the Ontario Public Service Grievance Board, and worked with the United Nations in the Middle East on refugee and human rights issues. In recent years, Prof. Lynk has organized an annual conference on labour law at Western, and he frequently speaks at industrial relations conferences across the country.
