Michael Renwick joins Trinity as the Chair of Physical Education and the Director of Athletics, after spending nine years at Johns Hopkins University. Throughout Renwick’s career, he has held just about every position within an athletics and recreation department from coaching to sports information to intramural coordinator to athletics administrator. Renwick believes deeply in creating a winning culture and continually striving for excellence. A culture that embraces the true values of the Division III student-athlete with academics at the forefront, while also creating opportunities for the entire student population to be involved whether through physical education classes, recreation programs or by supporting those that don the Bantam uniform. Renwick plans to continue the legacy that Rick Hazelton has left behind, specifically in hiring great well rounded department members and creating an atmosphere for the community to grow and be successful. The entire campus community will have the opportunities to learn and live a healthy lifestyle.
