Dr. Michal J. Kantoch received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical Academy in Warsaw, Poland. He has received professional certifications in internal medicine (National Heart Institute, Warsaw, Poland), pediatric cardiology (State University of New York, Buffalo NY, USA), and cardiac electrophysiology (Ottawa University Heart Institute, Ottawa ON, Canada). Presently, he is a Professor of Pediatrics and a director of Pediatric Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He is a staff cardiologist at the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic. Dr. Kantoch has authored more than 50 original publications and clinical reviews. He is a reviewer for several medical scientific journals.
