Dr. George's research areas include domestic architecture in Italy and the Roman west and Roman social history, especially the Roman family. Her research has focused on domestic space in Roman houses, interior decoration at Pompeii, and Roman slavery and material culture. She is the editor of the journal Phoenix.
Dr. George is interested in supervising theses in Roman archaeology, Pompeii, Roman slavery and family studies.
