An award-winning journalist and author for more than 35 years, Michele Weldon is an assistant professor emeritus of journalism at her alma mater, the Medill School of Northwestern University, where she taught for 18 years. An expert on issues related to media and also to women, she writes for The New York Times, CNN, Guardian, Slate, Chicago Tribune, Medium, Huffington Post and dozens more outlets and is a senior leader with The OpEd Project, an initiative to increase the diversity of voice in public discourse.
