Ming Chen is an Associate Professor at Merrimack College. Before joining Merrimack College, she had 14 years of expertise in the design, layout and fabrication of VLSI circuits using silicon processes. From 1997 to 2000, Chen was a mixed signal Senior Design Engineer at Analog Devices. She designed ICs for automatic test equipments and DSP based motor drivers. From 1995 to 1997, she was IC Design Engineer III at Quantum Corp. She designed read/write channel ICs for the hard disk drivers. From 1989 to 1995, she was a Design Engineer and later a Senior Design Engineer at AlliedSignal Aerospace Technology Center. She designed many Integrated Mix-signal Circuits. She received one of the highest Technical Achievement Awards from the company. She received Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University in 1989. Prof. Chen is a member of IEEE, The Materials Research Society and The International Society for Optical Engineering.
