Nai-Chang Yeh has been a professor of physics at California Institute of Technology (Caltech) since 1997. She received her B.Sc. degree in physics from National Taiwan University in 1983 and her Ph.D. degree in physics from MIT in 1988. She joined the Caltech faculty in 1989 after doing one year of postdoctoral research at IBM Watson Research Center. Her principal research field is experimental condensed matter physics, focusing on many-body quantum interactions and novel phases of correlated electronic materials and topological matter.
