Nathaniel Lloyd Crump, MD provides new innovations in treatment of uterine fibroids through minimally invasive procedures. He leads the Comprehensive Center for Uterine Fibroids, composed of a multi-disciplinary team focused on implementing alternatives to hysterectomy. In this role, Dr. Crump works with national technology companies to introduce leading edge treatment options for women, including hysteroscopic resections, myomectomy, endometrial ablation, and the new Acessa™ procedure which uses laparoscopic radiofrequency to treat fibroids. He performs many low-risk procedures in the office with sedation. When hysterectomy is the most appropriate option, Dr. Crump uses minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy.
