Dr. Wang has Ph.D. in Educational Measurement and Statistics. She also received a master's degree in Research Methodology and another master's degree in Mathematics Education. Currently, Dr. Wang teachers methodology courses at the doctoral level in the Education Division, Widener University.

Dr. Wang's scholarly work is well received at both the national and international levels and has been published in the most respected measurement journals such as the Journal of Educational Measurement, Education Measurement: Issues and Practice, International Journal of Testing, Journal of Applied Measurement, and Journal of Psycho-educational Assessment.
Dr. Wang's research in applications of research methods to broader areas of educational practices has earned her a number of prestigious research grants from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Lindback Foundation, and has provided her opportunities to be invited as a psychometric and statistical consultant for other research projects.
