Bio/Research

Sociologist and criminologist, Patrice Corriveau is an Associate Professor in the Department of Criminology after having worked at Justice Canada as a Senior Policy Analyst. Recipient of the Young Researcher Award of the Faculty of Social Sciences in 2012, his funded research projects underway are on a historical sociology of suicide in Quebec from 1800 to 2000 with A. Cellard (SSHRC), on sex work with C. Bruckert and C. Parent's team (SSHRC), and on the fight agains "gangs" in Quebec with J-F. Cauchie.
