For the last decade, Adamy's research has made URI's School of Education a leader in training future and current educators to use technology in the classrom. Adamy and URI colleague David Byrd were the principal lead investigators for the Rhode Island Teacher Education Renewal project, a 5-year, $7.5 million Teacher Quality Enhancement Partnership grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The project led to successful reform of teacher education and readiness in classrooms across the state.
