Bio/Research

I have just started my 25th year as a professor of resource and environmental studies - first a decade at Lakehead University's forestry school (1988-98), and then 14+ years at Dalhousie. In July 2009, I returned to the post of Director of the School, until June 2012. In January 2010, I took up duties as Associate Dean Research for the Faculty, effective also to June 2012. I started a sabbatical leave in July 2012 and am abroad for most of it.
