Bio/Research
Peter Struble has been with the Wallingford Fire Department for over 27 years. He has spent the last 13 as the department?s chief. He has been part of the faculty at UNH for the past 6 years. He has an interest and expertise in Fire Department Based Emergency Medical Services at the Paramedic level. His fire department currently operates both first responder and transport units within a fire department based paramedic system. He is currently the advisor to the Fire Science Club and has assisted the EMS club over the last two years. He works closely with Yale New Haven Hospital to jointly bring Emergency medical services classes to the University of New Haven. Chief Struble is one of less than 100 Fire Officers nationwide to be accredited as both a Chief Fire Officer and a Chief Medical Officer.
