Bio/Research

Professor Rahul Sarpeshkar is a principal investigator in the Research Laboratory of Electronics (RLE) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). After completing his PhD at CalTech, he joined Bell Labs as a member of the technical staff. He is currently on the faculty of MIT's Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department, where he heads a research group on Analog Circuits and Biological Systems. He holds over 25 patents and has authored more than 120 publications, including one that was featured on the cover of Nature.

He has won several awards for his interdisciplinary bioengineering research including the Packard Fellow award, the CAREER award, the ONR Young Investigator Award, and the Indus Technovator award.
