Professor Yelle, IDSA came to University of Bridgeport in 2005 from Parsons School of Design in NYC. He is a founder of UrbanGlass: New York Center for Contemporary Glass, the founding Chair of the Product and Furniture Design department at Parsons School of Design, and now the Director of the Shintaro Akatsu School of Design at the University of Bridgeport, (SASD) Yelle is Chair of Industrial Design, and is a practicing designer, and a Professional Member of IDSA.
