Bio/Research
Robin Sheppard has been a fixture in the Trinity College athletic community for 33 years. As a tenured Professor of Physical Education, she serves as the Associate Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator.
She is also the Assistant Director to the First-Year Program where she continues to teach an annual First-Year Seminar and serve as an academic advisor to first year and sophomore students.
Prior to her full-time administrative duties, Sheppard coached the field hockey and lacrosse teams through 25 successful seasons.
Sheppard is grateful to play a leadership role in one of the most competitive Division III athletic conferences in the country. She is confident that students can achieve excellence in both athletics and academics, if they are committed to discipline and time management. By working closely with the students, she finds ways to motivate and inspire them to new goals and challenges. Her longevity at Trinity is directly related to her passion for working with students.
